Location

Pikoulatika is a small village set amongst olive groves on the South side of the island.
The Pikoulas family have lived in the village for more than 100 years, spending most of their lives cultivating the vast land of Pikoulatika, producing Olives, Olive oil, grapes, lemons, figs and oranges together with numerous other products. The young Pikoulas have now left the village to study or live on the Greek mainland, but they return every summer to Corfu, to enjoy the sun and spend endless happy hours here.
The village has a small through road that links up with the main road to the Achilion Palace approximately one mile away. The Kaiser built the palace in 1890 for his dying wife , Elizabeth of Austria, it was her last wish to die in Corfu. The palace and the immense bronze statue of the dying Achilles are now major attractions here. The palace is now a museum and open to the public and well worth a visit.
